E strikes again
So, do you remember the kid who told Collin that he couldn't come and play at his house because he has black skin? Well, apparently this remark wasn't just an isolated incident.
I was at the kids' school today and ran into Collin's teacher. She told me that she was livid and needed to talk to me for a moment. For the past month I've been involved with possible/probable special education restructuring that is going down at our school next year (another topic for another day . . . ). So, I figured she was livid about some new lack of communication or request surrounding that.
But, no. She told me that as the kids were lining up she overheard them talking about stabbing. She quickly investigated and heard E say that he would only stab brown-skinned people. Lovely. Luckily, Collin was nowhere around at the time. But, aggggggggggggggggggg!

Wow! You know he has to be learning that from somewhere. His parents need to be called in!
Lovely. Hope Collin is not in the same class next year with this charmer. And what do the kid's parents say? And why on earth were they talking about stabbing anyway?
M - Parents have been called in. It doesn't seem to be doing much good. All they do is talk about how much jazz music they listen to at home (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
R - No s...t! I don't care who his teacher is as long as this kid isn't in his class. The parents are appalled. And, yes, I really think they are. And good question, why were they talking about stabbing? Oh, baby, it's a wild world . . . . did someone say, "Homeschool"?
Wow! I agree with Diaab though that kids is totally getting it from someone close to them. I am sure we ar glad that the school year is over.
