And more on Monkey George

So little did I know that Boston is a perfect place for a Monkey George addict like Collin. The book of the week, this week, is Curious George Goes to the Hospital. Do you know how long that book is? It's 47 pages and each page is full of lots of words. And Collin and Cayla have been riveted each of the 5 times we've read it in the past 2 days. I'm a little tired of it and the darn monkey who always gets in trouble. The monkey stresses me out. But on I read. So, back to Boston. The book, Curious George Goes to the Hospital, was written "In Collaboration with the Children's Hospital Medical Center, Boston". Wow! In addition, there are Curious George birthday celebrations all over Boston this month. And finally, we went down to the main library in downtown Boston, and low and behold, we spent our morning in the "Margaret and H.A. Rey Children's Room".

Although Cayla likes Monkey George, her favorite right now are the pigeon books. Her Uncle Dan got her the bus one for Christmas last year, and we just discovered the hot dog one. If we ever get around to buying a new camera remind me to take a video of her (or Flannery) reading it. It's quite a sight to see!
