Ketchup and an agile toe
How, funny! I just sat down to the computer to FINALLY write a blog entry - and low and behold, Flannery beat me to it . . . but just barely. So, I'm trying to decide if I should catch everyone up with all that we've been doing or just start anew. The "start anew" option is usually how I do things. As a teacher I never turned in old, unwritten lesson plans. As a student I was apt to forget about late work. And this is why the twin's photos from their first year with us are buried in our attic (waiting to be made into a cute scrapbook) while new photos are now thrown into a photo album.
So, no ketchup - onto new, cute things.
Today, while eating a bowl of cereal at Josuleo's, Collin dropped his (cool, broken, Star Wars) spoon. After a loud cry of frustration and whining at me to pick it up, he carefully wrapped his first two toes around it and brought it to his waiting hand. I am simply astounded by my kids everyday.

Collin must get that trait from me.

Cool, I pick things up with my toes all the time. Still not flexible enough to drink from a bottle using my feet, but maybe there's a yoga class that specializes in that.
Anonymous - I thought you only read entries pertaining to the great Grandpa Bill. Which by the way, while the amazing toe was picking up a spoon, Dr. Campbell was off working hard.
And tell Avery that it never occured to me to post a toe update. We do all look at it often . . . when we're in the same state. If we ever get around to obtaining a new camera, I'll take a new photo of it. In the meantime, you can check out the progression of Collin and Cayla's aunt's foot.
