First Day

Well, who knows what the rest of the day/week/month/school year will be like, but Cayla's first day drop-off went swimmingly. She showed me where her new classroom was (Flannery had walked her down there on Thursday after school) and walked straight in. As I chatted with her teachers she got her stuff hung up and put away over a leisurely 10 minutes. The other kids were really excited about her Obama shirt and she was really excited about the big numbers on the wall. Her teacher told her what number carpet square she would sit on every morning for circle time. She quickly found it, plopped down on it, and waved goodbye to me.
