Cayla's Strengths
We know that during the IEP meeting we will be asked what Cayla's strengths are. Of course our superstar girl has million strengths, but we're having trouble putting them to words. Flannery told me that I can't list the fact that she loves her hamster or likes to play on the playground as a strength. Help us out. What are Cayla's strengths?

Energy? Nurturing (to her hamster)?
They don't necessarily have to be academic strengths. Think about the best things about Kayla and think about how those qualities can serve her in a academic setting.
Nurturing - I like that! Thanks.
electronics, computers anything tactile that can be manipulated to illicit specific responses. O.K. maybe that's alittle longwinded but the girl knows her 'puters.
bold, determined, passionate, tough, good sense of humor, athletic, stands up for herself (what's the word for that?)
more specific strengths/cool things about cayla: wicked dance moves, great set of pipes, great taste in food/music, textbook tackling form, gives great hugs, beautiful gluteus maximus (is that inappropriate, i'm on a roll), a survivor...
I think Katie summed it up! I was going to say determined, funny, very sweet and gentle with little ones ...just to say a few. Hope the meeting went well! -T
Bravery! This kid's got more guts for physical challenges than her wimpy old grandpa ever did.
