Saturday's a Rugby Day!!!!!!

We were very excited that we scored a '6 Nations' rugby jersey (modeled by Collin) on our Goodwill run last night. Flannery was so excited, in fact, that she pulled out some other jerseys and initiated a family match. It's good timing because Collin's tackle buddy, Julia, is coming to visit in a few weeks. Last spring, at the UMWRFC (University of Michigan Womens Rugby Football Club) alumni game, the twins and Julia saw real live tackling for the first time. They proceeded to tackle each other on the sidelines which was definitely a step up from the "wrasling" they had enjoyed up until then.
After the 5 minute family game, Flannery commented on how much rugby would hurt now. However, she did like being tackled on the large blue ball - much softer than being impaled on the normal rugby ball.
