It's about time . . . .

After a year of good intentions, I FINALLY took Cayla to get her hair braided. She absolutely loved it. Her stylist (I think that's the official term), Denzel or "Dennie" was great. He even gave her a break when she was half-way done. The only thing she didn't like was the blow drying* . . . until Denzel let her turn on the blow dryer. Then she tolerated it and couldn't keep her hands off it. I'd post a photo, but we haven't replaced our broken cameras yet. Give me a year . . .

*Which we have never done, although we did buy a blow-dryer attachment about a year and a half ago. Problem is, we don't have a blow-dryer yet.

So, they are supposed to last about 2 weeks. It's been 2 days and they are frizzy as hell and unraveling as we speak. I guess this is the price we pay for Cayla having really easy to manage hair.

I thought Cayla was getting her hair professionally done this entire time. =)
