Although play dough will always be Cayla's first love, she has made a little room in her creative spirit for glue - Elmer's - the white, runny kind. And cutting is coming in a close third. We made collages a few days ago - or should I say 'soggy piles of paper scraps'. First, she squeezes the glue bottle for all long as she can. If we're lucky, most of the glue flows onto a piece of paper. After she is satisfied she starts to push pieces of paper into the puddle (lake, actually) of glue. She went through half a large bottle in less than an hour. Every 10 minutes or so, we had to slip a piece of paper under her creation so that it didn't become a permanent fixture on our basement floor. There is lots of stuff sandwiched in between - it adds texture to her masterpieces.
I'd take a photo, but all our camera's have died.
Life under Cayla, Collin, Greta, and a Person Who Takes Nutrition Classes
A record (and a bit of commentary) on the minute details and everyday occurrences in Cayla and Collin's lives, that Flannery and Erica live for! Yes, it's a bit (OK, more than a bit) narcissist and we understand if this is the last time you visit. But for those of you not privileged to observe these little cuties 24/7, we thought we'd keep you updated.
