Just as I suspected, Cayla didn't give a hoot about her 5 homework words. After much grumping and growling she completed that piece over 4 days. However, she decided to write her weekly book report on Shoo Fly Guy and man, was she into it. She attempted to read it by herself and did pretty darn good. She then filled out the top of her book report form all by herself. And, then (drumroll please . . . ) drew this fabulous portrait of Fly Guy:



Since most of us can't recognize about 99% of what Cayla draws, we were very impressed. Go Fly Guy!
