A record (and a bit of commentary) on the minute details and everyday occurrences in Cayla and Collin's lives, that Flannery and Erica live for! Yes, it's a bit (OK, more than a bit) narcissist and we understand if this is the last time you visit. But for those of you not privileged to observe these little cuties 24/7, we thought we'd keep you updated.
Collin's teacher is out all week. He had a sub today and I asked him how the day went. "Good", he replied, "She was good." pause. pause. "Well . . . she was angry", he added. "Mom, when I grow up I'm NOT going to be an angry sub. I'm going to be a hockey player."

Oh, I laughed out loud! Poor Collin!
btw, bought plane tickets today...Hurrah! but, we're only coming in for 5 days. sigh.
It's OK. I think he ended up liking the sub a lot. Apparently she spent much of her time "being angry" at other kids, so Collin didn't have to do nearly as much academic work as usual:) And, I have lot of sympathy for subs. Teaching can be a thankless job, but subbing is pretty ugh.
And, can't wait to see you!
