Tonight is the first night

of Hanukkah. Let's eat latkes

for dinner and play dreidel.

So, this would be where the Advent fell apart. I did go out and buy a dreidel in the morning. I did not however, prepare to make latkes. The kids, for the first day ever, forgot to open the envelope in the morning. And, between choir practice, tap, and hockey most of our family was gone from the house for most of the day. Bustle, bustle, busy, busy. And, that's the story of today.
