It's Mama's birthday today.

Let's sing her songs, read

her poems, and eat ice cream.

Hmmm . . . writing about these a month later may be a bit tricky. I don't remember what we did or ate. Luckily, there are photos. We started dancing after dinner. It quickly deteriorated into more of a wrestling match than dance party, but that's how we roll in our house:)

And, while we were dancing, our walnut candle caught fire. This was very exciting and we actually relit it to take a photo!

And, now it's coming to me. We ate something delicious for dinner. I'm not sure what, but I'm sure it was delicious! And, we ended the evening with some Ben and Jerry's Red Velvet Ice Cream. I was really looking forward to some good ice cream. I haven't had any in a long, long time. I decided to forgo my normal chocolate chunky, peanut butter flavor scheme and tried the Red Velvet. Big mistake. Bleh. Cream cheese frosting swirls do not compare to peanut butter and chocolate chunks.
