We're going to the Michigan Marching

Band concert today !

I wish Grandma and Grandma came with us. It was awesome. But, once those other students came in from all over Michigan, it was super, duper loud and almost burst my eardrums. I liked the people who did the batons because it was cool. They threw them up and did fancy moves while it was up in the air and then caught it. They juggled 3 batons. There was a move that I probably can do, but not in the living room. My favorite song was when they did that different version of Hail to the Victors (which, for the record, Cayla did NOT like).

I wish Anca came with us. I loved all the flags that I saw. We watched the band play and it was awesome. My favorite part was when they had to do the moose and they were doing it wrong. The people from last year did the moose.

Flannery and I were smitten with the drumline (how can one not be?!?!?) and liked Lose Yourself:) We did not make it to one marching band practice this year. Unacceptable. My New Year's Resolution is to make it to MANY next fall. Love that band.
