Drained/ing - used 4 times in one short paragraph - oh yes we are

The end of the school year is always a rough time for Cayla. The girl loves her school no matter how stressful and draining it is for her. It also doesn't help that her class has a total of 5 field trips the last 2 weeks of school. She is drained. Ugh. Anyway, every little thing is setting her off right now and Flannery and I are drained . . . She had a meltdown tonight because she didn't get any dessert. And, to add fuel to her fire, her brother did. Oh, the tragedies of life! Anyway, I decided that I needed an ice cream sandwich, because I was so drained. And, then I decided to head back to the freezer and eat one for her too:)
