Boring Proud Mom Rant

Our kids are growing like weeds, in both body and mind. They look like kids now and keep getting longer by the day. You Michigan folk who haven't seen them in over a month (has it only been a month!) will be surprised. Their personalities and fashion sense are also developing. Today they both dressed themselves in stripped tights, soccer shorts, and soccer jerseys (Zidane is getting a bit tight, but Wilstermann should last a few more years!). On most days they can count. Cayla has become quite funny as of late. I don't quite know how to describe the facial expressions that pour fourth from her on a daily basis. Her lips and eyes can usually be found moving in separate directions. And Collin, in his non-stop attempt to converse with bigger words and more complex ideas is finally moving out of the simple "why?" stage and saying some pretty crazy stuff. Now that the rest of the house is well (finally!!!!), Flannery's body succumbed to sickness and she spent the day in bed. I made a cup of tea for her at one point and Collin said, "Mom, why are you giving Queso tea? Are you trying to keep her down or something?"
