Digestion
Apparently my new knowledge of the human gastrointestinal tract has not yet trickled down to my children. Collin was describing his activities at dinner last night, which went something like this:
Collin: "First I put it in my mouth and I chew, chew, chew, chew and then it goes down my throat"
Queso (thinking to self): hmmm, not bad, he's pretty smart.
Collin: "and into my pants."
Queso: laughing too hard to respond
Erica: "well, we hope it goes somewhere else first before your pants!"

OK, this has nothing to do with this posting, but I just made a disturbing discovery in our medicine cabinet that I believe Flannery could use as the subject of a lively debate in one of her classes. Children's chewable vitamins contain HYDROGENATED OIL!
Oh yeah, now Collin is ready for a rugby road trip void of any pee breaks.
I think when Flannery decided the kids needed vitamins she was also floored by the amount of sugar in them - but hydroginated oil, that is really wrong.
And on the milk jug/pee thing - I would have had him go outside, but he is really, really messy when he tries to pee outside. Far more drips on him than on the ground.
