2 replacement pairs

So we picked up the glasses on Monday afternoon, and it only took us until Thursday afternoon to scratch them. We were told at the optical shop that we get 2 replacement pairs per year, so I think we better start putting some money away to buy Cayla her monthly pair.

The scratching occurred during a severe tricycle crash. We were all out walking and tricycling around the block last night, and again going down the scary hill around the corner. Collin listened to Erica and learned pretty well how to keep his feet on the pedals and slow himself down when he got going too fast. Cayla, on the other hand, enjoyed going as fast as possible with her feet in the air. I would just run alongside her and stop her when she was picking up too much speed, but Erica thought she should learn Collin's technique, and gave her some good, just poorly timed, advice. So here's my tricycle advice - don't try to put your feet on the pedals while screaming down a hill or you will probably turn sideways very quickly and then fly over your handlebars and smack your head on the ground while your tricycle flips on top of you.

As is amazingly true most of the times with kids, Cayla was apparently unhurt. The glasses came out the worst of it.
