Music Class

We signed the kids up for a music class and the first meeting was today. It was a 45-minute jamboree of singing, dancing, marching, banging, and giggling. The twins ate it up. They loved it. Cayla was very impressive in her ability to belt out songs she had never heard before today - and I mean BELT OUT. While other children ignored the teacher or just hummed along, Cayla sung along (where did she learn the words?) in very loud voice. It was especially funny when the song was over and she was still going. Collin was more subdued, staring at eveyone and keeping the beat. By the end of the class, he was clapping out beats that I kept screwing up and dancing as he is apt to do. The twins absolutely loved the class and we got to take home a CD with all 25 songs (and rhythm patterns!!!!) we experienced in class. I am so excited. Beware. Once they are completely stuck in our heads by 2pm tomorrow, I will find a way to get them stuck in all your heads!!!!!!
